EGreat’s new EG-M34A Networked Media Tank (ie. Popcorn Hour) features all the power of an NMT and the low price and convenience of the Western Digital HD TV Media Player.
To enable telnet, need an external HDD or like i did:
From usb, i couldn’t install syb8634.nmt i got always an error, with CF 16Gb, 8Gb, 4G and also with MicroDrive 8Gb, i was almost quiting.
Then i try install syb8634.nmt but "online" using internet, it take about 30 mm (downloading and instaling), with no errors formating, bla bla.
So, i think the error ir my USB stick …
Now i’m trying install telnet:
Install Telnet
1. Plugin harddrive to linux computer
2. copy busybox26 to /mnt/syb8634/bin
3. chmod 755 busybox26
4. edit file /mnt/syb8634/etc/ftpserver.sh
5. Add the following line to end of the Start() directive
/mnt/syb8634/bin/busybox26 telnetd -l /bin/sh -p 23 &
6. Add the following line to end of the Stop() directive
killall busybox26
7. Plugin the harddrive to NMT
8. NMT Applications > start FTP Server
